Portfolio

I tend to make websites for my friends and acquiantances. Simple sites, built for conveying *information* and not using up people’s patience quotas by making them wait for Flash or Java or other whiz-bang code to load.

Currently live:

• Griffin Dyeworks – Natural dye information and a weekend retreat with online registration.
• Griffin Dyeworks Store – Runs on Zen Cart, which I learned how to use just for this. I set up and manage the web side, other people fulfill the orders and take money.
• Spa-Med Books – Selling bilingual medical vocabulary, cultural information and more.
• Dolled Up Faces – Makeup and makeovers for special occasions or no occasion at all!
• Advanced Musical Electronics – Fixing your electronic musical equipment for 25 years.
• Deryabar – A CV/portfolio site for a game designer and writer.
• Good Ship White Star – A group blog site that runs on Drupal (it also has a photo gallery than uses Gallery).
• ACDS – Association of Child Development Specialists’ website, using the Joomla platform to help manage the huge number of newsletters and documents that will be loaded.

I’ll have to see about finding screenshots of the sites that aren’t online anymore.
