Have you been to a LASIK surgeon for a consultation yet? I went for one last year as my optometrist thought I'd be a good candidate... but it turns out I wasn't & they couldn't do LASIK or PRK. *sigh* (my corneas are too thin) I've also worn glasses since the 4th grade.
